TEAM
Aaron has nearly twenty years of diverse experience advising closely-held companies in a variety of industries. He is a hands-on advisor to lower middle-market companies in M&A and capital raising transaction advisory, financial management, strategic business development and guiding companies in distressed/turnaround situations. Aaron’s work includes sound decision making, setting strategic direction, financial management, operational improvements, change management, M&A transaction execution and advising family businesses. In addition to guiding companies day-to-day, Aaron focuses on raising debt and equity capital and leading M&A company sale processes for lower middle-market companies. He has in-depth understanding of the debt and equity capital markets as they apply to emerging, lower middle-market businesses. Aaron served as the President and co-founder of an international healthy beverage company and in multiple situations as EVP/CFO led restructurings and re-financings as a member of various senior management teams. He also worked at a Boston consulting and boutique investment banking firm serving a variety of closely-held and family businesses with consulting and financial advisory services. Aaron has worked with clients from start-up to $200M in revenues and in various industries including consumer products, multi-unit retail, food & beverage, manufacturing, distribution, business services and technology.
Aaron received his BS in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Tennessee and his MBA in Finance and International Business, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. While attending business school, he worked at the Economic Forecasting Center in Atlanta. Aaron is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. He is FINRA/NASD Series 7 and 66 qualified. Aaron serves on the Board of Directors as Officer & Treasurer at Pine Lake Preparatory, Inc. in Lake Norman / Mooresville, a leading public charter school in North Carolina. He is married with three children and resides in Cornelius in the Lake Norman area.

Tony has extensive experience with companies both small and large, both in leading the operation day-to-day and also advising at the Board of Directors level. He is a strategy and business planning and development specialist, with an operating background across numerous industries including consumer products, retail and manufacturing. His extensive senior executive experience enables him to be an effective leader for either organic expansion or M&A buy-side or sell-side activity. Tony is a principal of ADB Capital LLC in Aspen, Colorado, an investment vehicle that provides growth-stage funding and mentoring to closely-held businesses, and a Partner with The Partnering Group, a global consultancy providing operational and strategic services to consumer product marketers, retailers and wholesalers. Tony has held a variety of key Executive Management positions, including President of Chiquita Brands’ Diversified Foods Group (global branded and private label packaged foods, edible oils, international fruit and vegetable sourcing and sales); and, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Technology for Chiquita’s banana division. Prior to joining Chiquita, Tony was President of The Direct Marketing Group, a New York advertising agency; Assistant to the Chairman and Vice President, Planning for General Host Corporation – a diversified consumer foods, agriculture, hospitality and specialty retailing company with consumer brands including Bar-S, Budget Gourmet, and Van de Kamp’s and specialty food retailing operations. Tony started his professional career as a consultant for Arthur Young.
Tony has received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tufts University, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. He has been a frequent participant in Harvard Business School’s Agribusiness seminar. He and his wife are active in numerous non-profit organizations.
